About me

Hi! I am Divyaksh Shukla, a PhD student at IIT-Kanpur in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, joined July 2023. Before pursuing my doctoral studies I was a Senior Software Engineer at Itron. Itron is a US-based company working on smart utility metering. I worked on electrical load forecasting, where I developed end-to-end solutions for clients to see forecasting results on a web-based dashboard.

I did my M.Tech from BITS-Pilani in the field of Data Science and Engineering. I wrote my thesis under the guidance of Dr. Frank Monforte, Director Itron, titled "AI-Based Electrical Load forecasting using real-time load data in the presence of volatile behind-the-meter Solar PV power generation".

I intend to bring the disparate worlds of Machine Learning and Operations together, popularly called MLOps. With my industrial experience and knowledge in Continuous Integration and Deployment systems using Azure Cloud, Kubernetes and Docker, I wish to make a seamless environment to build-improve-deploy models for real-world operations.
